A member of the Montreal Canadiens for parts of four seasons after being drafted by the club 100th overall at the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, Victor Mete has played in 248 games during his career thus far for the likes of Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and currently, Philadelphia. A Memorial Cup champion in junior with the London Knights in 2016, offered here is this Montreal Canadiens jersey worn by Mete on November 29th, 2017 against the Ottawa Senators. Made by Adidas, a band displaying both size "54" and "Made in Canada" designations has been added over the inner collar while the crest logos of the NHL and Adidas grace the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front of the bleu, blanc et rouge coloured garment with Montreal's famed "CH" crest in layered tackle twill, the patch of the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation has been added over the right breast as the jerseys were auctioned off after the game via NHL Auctions to raise funds for the charity. Having had Mete's number "53" sewn to the sleeves and verso in dual layer white-over-blue tackle twill numerals, "Mete" is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the back. Displaying a Canadiens team tag sewn inside the reverse hem, it is worth noting that the tag lists the jersey as "Game-Worn" but it was in fact just worn during the pre-game warmups. Signed by Mete over the reverse number "5" with a black marker ink signature that shows some very light bleeding around the edges, a Canadiens hologram has been added to the bottom of the "3" on the reverse as well. Worn only in the warmups, the jersey remains in excellent condition with no obvious signs of on-ice use though a couple of spot stains/stuck on residue is present near the right elbow and under the collar.
