A veteran of seventeen (17) National Hockey League seasons that saw him play in 1097 games over that period of time, Tom Fitzgerald would be drafted 17th overall by the New York Islanders at the 1986 NHL Entry Draft and turn pro after two (2) seasons of NCAA college hockey with the Providence Friars. Skating for a total of seven (7) clubs during his career, offered here is this Nashville Predators jersey worn by Fitzgerald as captain of the club during the 2000-01 season. Made by Koho, sewn over size "54" and "Made in Canada" labels are affixed to the inner collar while a Koho logo patch has been added over the reverse neckline and an NHL shield logo has been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a Predators team crest that features embroidered and textured details throughout, matching alternate logo patches have been added over both shoulders and the distinguished captain's "C" has been sewn on over the left breast. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Fitzgerald's number "21" in dual layer tackle twill numerals, "Fitzgerald" is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Remaining in excellent condition and showing only light game-wear through a red coloured paint transfer mark over the hem on the right hip and some sweat/spot staining over both cuffs, the jersey comes accompanied by a Predators LOA.
