Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
First presented at the conclusion of the 1964-65 NHL season, the Conn Smythe Trophy is awarded annually to the player judged most valuable to his team during the National Hockey League's Stanley Cup playoffs. We have an attractive photo of the award, and it’s been signed by 17 past recipients. At 16” x 20”, the glossy print features an image of the award, with signatures on each side in silver paint pen, with each listing their respective winning season(s). Included from top to bottom, left to right are Serge Savard HOF, Yvan Cournoyer HOF, Billy Smith HOF, Bernie Parent HOF, Larry Robinson HOF, Reggie Leach, Bob Gainey HOF, Jean Beliveau HOF (D. 2014), Guy Lafleur HOF, Mike Bossy HOF, Patrick Roy HOF, Brian Leetch HOF, Claude Lemieux, Bill Ranford, Glenn Hall HOF, Butch Goring and Ron Hextall. The signatures display extremely well, with just a pair of creases over the upper left edge that do nothing to detract from the overall display quality. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
