The 64th season of play for Detroit's National Hockey League team and their 58th campaign as the Red Wings, the 1989-90 NHL season saw Detroit finish the eighty (80) game regular season with a record of 28-38-14 and marked the last season until 2016-17 that MoTown would miss out on an appearance in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Offered here, we present this 1989-90 Detroit Red Wings team signed display plus a ticket from Bob Probert's first game back from suspension on March 22nd, 1990 against the Minnesota North Stars that has been signed by the heavyweight as well. Starting with the display, a Red Wings logo poster board that shows "89 90" at the top and sports a thin metal frame around its exterior, the piece has been signed by twenty-nine (29) members of that year's Red Wings squad in black marker including Yzerman, Gallant, Probert, Demers (coach), Kocur, Cheveldae, Murphy, Federko and many others, with all the signatures displaying well for the most part except for a couple that show some fading or small smudges. Additionally, the display is also in good condition, showing just light edge, surface and corner wear to make mention of for accuracy.
For the ticket, from Detroit's March 22nd, 1990 contest against the Minnesota North Stars when they welcomed back Bob Probert from lengthy suspension due to legal troubles, the piece displays a Red Wings logo and "89-90 Wings" at both the top and bottom. Remaining full and untorn while displaying information such as seat location, venue, opponent, date, time and price, light wear to seen at the corners and edges while light toning appears over both sides as well. Having been signed over the front by Probert with a black marker ink signature, the autograph displays well despite some light fading from age while the ticket is housed in a screw down holder.
