Jacques Plante Auction March 2006

The first goalie ever to jump directly from junior hockey to the NHL following a superb junior career in Calgary, John Davidson had his finest hour with the Rangers, helping New York to the Stanley Cup finals in ’78-79. J.D.’s trademark red, white and blue mask features two Rangers logos and recalls John’s performances on Broadway, so to speak. The mask, without elastic straps, was made by Greg Harrison as an extra and never worn in a game by Davidson. It’s in impeccable condition and worthy of your big-time goalie mask display. Another tempting piece from Brian Rogers’ amazing collection.
