Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/29/2025
Offered here are three Saskatoon Blades jerseys, each representing a different era of the team’s
history. Included is an early-2000s #26 road jersey, a Michael MacAngus 2005-06 game-worn road
jersey with a team LOA, and a Kyle Crnkovic 2017-18 “Don Cherry Night” game-issued jersey.
These jerseys showcase a range of wear, design variations, and historical significance.
The early-2000s #26 road jersey, worn between 2000-01 and 2003-04, lacks evidence of a former
nameplate, making its exact usage uncertain. However, players who wore #26 during this period
include Petr Prochazka (2000-01) and Adam Huxley (2001-02, 2002-03). This size 56
Bauer-manufactured jersey features the Bauer logo stitched on the left breast, with number 26
displayed on both arms and the back in yellow-over-navy-and-white tackle twill. Game wear is
evident, with puck and stick marks across the front, while the right sleeve shows additional small
puck and stick marks, small holes, and board burns on the elbow. The left sleeve also features puck
and stick marks, a small hole, and board burns. The back exhibits minor puck and stick marks. The
jersey remains nameless, with its original fight strap intact.
MacAngus’ 2005-06 game-worn road jersey is a Reebok-manufactured size 54, bearing the RBK
logo on the reverse neckline, a WHL patch on the right breast, and an RBK logo on the left breast.
The Blades’ team patches adorn both shoulders. Number 28 is displayed in
white-over-blue-and-silver tackle twill, appearing on both arms, the back, and the bottom right of the
front. Game wear is extensive, with a small team repair on the bottom left of the front, along with
puck and stick marks throughout. The right arm bears puck and stick marks and board burns, while
the left sleeve features several team repairs, large board burns, and puck marks. The back of the
jersey has two additional team repairs along the bottom, along with further puck and stick marks.
MACANGUS is stitched in white over a blue nameplate on the back. The jersey retains its fight strap
and is accompanied by a team LOA.
Crnkovic’s 2017-18 “Don Cherry Night” game-issued jersey is a striking tribute to the legendary
broadcaster’s signature bold suit designs. Crnkovic played only three games with the Blades in
2017-18, and this jersey exhibits no noticeable game wear, offered here as a game-issued piece.
Manufactured by Castiçh in a size 54, the jersey features an elaborate Don Cherry-inspired pattern
throughout. The number 16 appears in white-over-navy blue on both arms and the back, while the
WHL logo is placed on the right breast alongside a CCM logo and a commemorative poppy.
CRNKOVIC is stitched in white on the back. The jersey retains its original fight strap and presents as
a pristine, unworn collector’s item.
