Found inserted within issues of "The Triumph", a boy's magazine published in Great Britain, three postcards were reportedly included along with a paper folder to store the cards in the January 18, 1936 issue, with one postcard per Triumph issued for the following seven weeks for a total complete set of 10 postcards. We offer a group of five, along with a pair from the companion "Champion" magazine also from 1936. The Triumph postcards include Shore VG to VG+ (light corner wear and staining on back), L. Conacher AUTHENTIC/POOR (bad tear top of postcard), Johnson VG to VG/EX (light corner and border wear, slight stain on back), Northcott POOR to FAIR (multiple creases), and Metz VG to VG/EX (light corner wear and staining on back). The Champion postcards include Cook VG to VG/EX (corner wear, tiny scratch on front, stain on back) and C. Conacher POOR to FAIR (large crease).
