The first championship for the nation's capital team since 1960, the Ottawa Rough Riders would win the Grey Cup in 1968, and again in 1969, followed by the teams final wins in both 1973 and 1976. The only back-to-back championships for the black and red since the days of the Senators in the 1910s, we offer a jersey and sheet team-signed by the 1968 Grey Cup champs, along with a pennant signed by 11 members of the final season Rough Riders in 1996. Signed much later than 1996, the Catstitch XXL Russ Jackson jersey has been signed by 20 in black marker on the reverse including HOFers Jackson, Stewart and Tucker, along with Adkins, Pullen, Collins, Joyner, Perdrix, Van Burkleo, Scott, Shaw, Dever, Sutherin, Specht, Giardino, Lehmann, Beynon, Gaines and Black. The 6 1/2" x 9 1/2" sheet has 1968-69 along the top and "Ottawa Rough Riders", with 13 signing in black marker, including HOFers Stewart and Tucker, along with Adkins, Collins, Pullen, Joyner, Perdrix, Van Burkleo, Scott, Shaw, Sutherin, Specht and Giardino. The full size 30" Riders pennant is signed by Jayson Dzikowicz, Kerry Brown, Lloyd Lewis, Willie Hinchcliff, James Monroe, Sammie Brennan and a few others. The lot also comes with a "War of '94" fan towel (Shreveport vs Ottawa).
