A formidable bruiser who played a total of 518 National Hockey League games over the course of his career, Todd Ewen would rack up a total of 1914 penalty minutes over that time, averaging out to 3.69 PIM a game. A Stanley Cup champion with the Canadiens in 1993 who also wore the colours of the St. Louis Blues, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and San Jose Sharks during his career after being drafted 168th overall by the Edmonton Oilers at the 1984 NHL Entry Draft, offered here is this Mighty Ducks of Anaheim jersey worn by Ewen during the 1995-96 season. Made by CCM, both size "56" and Maska Ultrafil labels are affixed to the inner collar while NHL and CCM logos have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a puffy Mighty Ducks team crest that displays with embroidered details, the distinguished alternate captain's "A" has been added over the left breast. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Ewen's number "36" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals, "Ewen" has been spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Having had a Mighty Ducks team tag denoting the jersey as a "1995-96 - Set 1" example sewn inside the reverse hem, the jersey displays beautiful game-wear in the form of stick marks over the front and both sleeves, board burns, team repairs and unrepaired holes over both sleeves, board burns over the lower reverse and pilling on the interior. Regarding the photo-match, the jersey is matched with Getty Image #854114784 (November 7th, 1995 vs Toronto) to various board burns, stick marks and repairs over the right sleeve.
