Playing his junior career in the Q, goaltender Jean-Sebastien Aubin was a third round draft choice of the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1995 and made his NHL debut in 1998-99. Aubin dressed for a trio of NHL clubs throughout his tenure, with additional time spent in the AHL, DEL and other leagues. From his first of two seasons in Toronto, we have this Maple Leafs jersey worn by the Montreal native during the 2005-06 season. Made by Reebok and featuring both "Goalie Style" and size "58" tagging affixed to the inner collar, Reebok and NHL shield crests have been added over the reverse neckline and hem respectively. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a Maple Leafs team crest that has had "Toronto Maple Leafs" embroidered into it, matching "TML" alternate logo patches have been placed atop of both shoulders and the sleeves plus verso have been styled with Aubin's number "30" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals. Having had "Aubin" spelt out in single layer blue twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse, the jersey displays game-wear in the form of heavy sweat staining around the collar, puck marks throughout the front and both sleeves and red post paint transfers over the area of both elbows and the reverse. Having had a MeiGray tag numbered "C09526" sewn inside the reverse hem, according to the company's Population Report, the jersey is a "White Set 3" example. Accompanied by a matching LOA, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #57651547 (April 13th, 2006 vs New York) to various puck marks over the front.
