A fundamental piece of equipment needed to play America's pastime, offered here is this collection of eleven (11) baseball bats that includes both game-used and pro model examples. Starting with the better game-used and pro model example bats that are present within the group, included are examples once wielded by Randy Ready (Louisville Slugger - cracked), Randy Wilke (Louisville Slugger), Charlie Hays (Rawlings Adirondack - cracked/broken), Marty Peavey (Louisville Slugger - cracked) and Bruce Dostal (Louisville Slugger - cracked), the pro model examples include bats modeled after the sticks swung by legendary names including Babe Ruth (Louisville Slugger), Frank Robinson (Louisville Slugger), George Brett (Louisville Slugger) and Wade Boggs (Louisville Slugger). In terms of condition - the game-used bats are all cracked or broken as stated above and have had either pine tar or tape applied to their handles. Found in a variety of lengths, the game-used bats have also mostly all had player numbers penned over the knobs in black marker ink and in some cases have had player signatures and team names branded into the barrels. For the pro model bats, all remain intact and free from cracks or breaks while exhibiting handling wear and marks throughout their entirety. Additionally, it should be noted that the Frank Robinson bat shows fading to the branding and the others show blue coloured marks/streaks. Once again, these bats are in a variety of lengths and weights. Lastly, the group of bats is rounded out by a Cy Block model little league bat by Louisville Slugger and a mini commemorative bat from the 1990 MLB All-Star Game that was hosted in Chicago by the Cubs. Lastly, the final item included in the lot comes in the form of a poster of Mickey Mantle from his restaurant in New York City that shows wear and tear to the corners and edges that is worth noting for accuracy.
