The last set ever released by Canadian company Parkhurst and often regarded as the most visually appealing of all those that were put out into the world by them, the 1963-64 Parkhurst hockey set featured a 99-card checklist that pictured players from the Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens and Detroit Red Wings. Up for grabs here, is this 47-card starter set of that final release with the majority of the included cards found to be in the condition ranges of EX-MT to NM and EX to EX-MT throughout its entirety. Missing the examples of 3, 5-Bower, 9, 11, 14, 15, 17, 19-Imlach, 20-Clancy, 21, 23-H. Richard, 25, 26Berenson RC, 27, 29-Geoffrion, 32-Harper RC, 33, 35, 37, 38, 41, 42-Faulkner RC, 43, 45, 48, 51, 53, 54, 57, 61, 63-Kelly, 65, 67, 69-Shack, 71, 73, 75, 77-Mahovlich, 79, 80, 81, 82, 84, 86, 87, 88, 90, 93, 94, 96, 98 & 99-Maniago RC to be considered complete, among the included key cards, present are those of 16-Horton (EX to EX-MT - tiny ding at the bottom left), 30-Beliveau (GOOD - multiple light creases), 39-Worsley (VG-EX to EX - corner ding at the bottom left), 40-Maniago RC (EX to EX-MT - very slight corner wear), 50-Delvecchio (EX to EX-MT - tiny ding at the bottom left) 52-Ullman (EX to EX-MT - very slight corner wear), 55-Howe ("AUTHENTIC" - total back damage via paper loss), 76-Horton (EX-MT to NM), 89-Beliveau (VG-EX to EX - discolouration at the top border) and 92-Ferguson RC (VG to VG-EX - dings to the top and bottom borders). For the rest of the group eighteen (18) cards present around EX-MT to NM, fifteen (15) cards are seen in the scope of EX to EX-MT, three (3) cards display as VG to VG-EX and finally, one (1) card is in the vicinity of G to VG condition.
