A veteran of seventeen (17) Major League Baseball seasons who spent the bulk of his career in "The Peach State" as a member of the Atlanta Braves, Andruw Jones would also experience time in Los Angeles, Texas, Chicago and New York as well as overseas in Japan. A ten (10) time Gold Glove Award winner who also played in five (5) MLB All-Star Games, Jones would also win a Silver Slugger Award in 2005 and during the 1996 World Series against the New York Yankees he became the youngest player ever to hit a home run in the postseason, and just the second player ever to homer in his first two World Series at-bats. Offered here, we present this pair of signed bats issued to Jones as a member of the White Sox during the 2010 season as well as a pair of baseballs signed by him as well. Starting with the bats, both Louisville Slugger 175L model sticks in black, each measures 34" in length and has had Jones' facsimile signature and "Chicago White Sox" branded into the barrel. Sporting Louisville Slugger logos branded into the area above the handles, the backside of each barrel sports both TPX and MLB logos. With both also having had "25" identifier number decals affixed to the end of the knobs, covering the majority of the manufacturing date seen on each, each bat, having not been prepared for game use, remains in overall good condition with some handling wear and spots of paint loss seen throughout while Jones has signed both with silver marker ink signatures that display with wear/scratching. For the signed balls, both Rawlings made "Official Major League Baseball" pearls that display with strong stamps, each shows light toning/spots (heavier on one of the two), and Jones has signed the sweet spot of both with blue ballpoint pen ink signatures that display without issue.
