Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/25/2024
Taking place at the hallowed Detroit Olympia, we have NHL All-Star Game programs for 1950 - the 4th official All-Star Game, and 1954 - the 8th official All-Star Game. As current Stanley Cup champions for both years, and as was customary during the period, the Red Wings took on a team of NHL All-Stars in each contest, winning the 1950 match 7-1 (Ted Lindsay scored a hat trick and added an assist for four points), and tying the All-Stars 2-2 in the 1954 match (Howe scored a goal in the game). Both programs are complete including the line-ups, with just light wear present to the pair including some minor spine wear to the 1954 program.
