The largest hockey set issued by Topps up until that time, featuring 198 cards with four different colored borders, the 1973-74 set included 17 different team emblem stickers, with one inserted into each wax pack along with a single checklist card. Ringing in complete a 198 total cards, offered here is the assembly of Topps' 1973-74 hockey release. In the overall condition range of EX to EX-MT for its effort with approximately fifteen (15) cards sporting elastic marks over their edges and classifying as exceptions. Additionally, a small of cards that are off-center at their top borders also start to show the next card. Including an extra low-grade copy of the checklist card that falls at #116 in the set and shows heavy creasing, the key cards include the likes of; 10-Dryden (VG to VG-EX - 80-20 centering and bottom right corner ding), 17-Dionne (VG-EX to EX - off-center on the reverse, light surface wear/print mark), 50-Clarke (G to VG - surface wear), 66-Parent (EX - light corner wear), 70-Perreault (EX - slightly off-center and light corner wear), 72-Lafleur (VG-EX to EX - 90-10 centering), 81-Barber RC (EX to EX-MT), 90-T. Esposito (VG to VG-EX - surface dirt at top left), 116-Checklist (EX to EX-MT - unmarked), 132-Sittler (EX - 80-20 centering and slight corner wear at the left side), 150-Orr (EX - off-center at the top border and beginning to show the next card) and 162-Smith RC (EX to EX-MT).
