A follow up film to the 1977 sports classic "Slap Shot", the series' second film, released in 2002, "Slap Shot 2: Breaking the Ice" depicts the story of the Charlestown Chiefs relocating to Nebraska and being renamed the "Super Chiefs" and becoming a team which loses in scripted games against a Harlem Globetrotters-type team called the Omaha IceBreakers, in an attempt to make the game suitable for a family audience. Going on to play a real game against the IceBreakers and using "old-time hockey" and some special old friends to beat their foes, offered here is this IceBreakers jersey worn during filming of the movie. An air-knit like material offering made by Athletic Knit, a brand label displaying a size "XXXL" designation is affixed to the inner collar. Decorated over the front of the jersey with an IceBreakers team crest that features embroidered details throughout, a "Better America" patch has been added over the right collar bone while a Claremont Media patch is in place over the reverse hem. Sporting the number "1" over the sleeves and verso in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals, the name "Chris" is spelt out in single layer red twill letters across the affixed white twill nameplate over the upper reverse. Decorated with white and silver stars throughout the piece, wear is present in the form of puck marks over the front with staining over the front and left sleeve while some light marks are also seen on the right sleeve as well.
