Some different poses/photos than seen on their O-Pee-Chee counterparts have always made Topps cards from the early-1970s fun to check out with this complete 1972-73 Topps assembly no different. Featuring a checklist of 176 cards in all, an increase from its previous efforts of 132-cards, the offered assembly has been further enhanced by the fact that ninety-four (94) of the cards included have been graded by the professionals at PSA, with eighty-six (86) sporting marks of PSA NM-MT 8 or better, fifty-four (54) cards having been graded PSA MINT 9 and finally four (4) that have been graded at the perfect by definition designation of PSA GEM MT 10. Including a key group of six (6) cards that includes the likes of #160 Ken Dryden (PSA NM-MT+ 8.5), #100 Bobby Orr (PSA NM-MT+ 8.5), #79 Guy Lafleur (PSA MINT 9), #126 Bobby Hull AS (PSA MINT 9), #122 Bobby Orr AS (PSA MINT 9) and #150 Phil Esposito (PSA NM-MT 8), all are housed in PSA holders that remain in excellent condition overall for their efforts. For the rest of the graded cards, the PSA GEM MT 10's include the cards of 27-McCreary, 89-Corrigan, 109-Myre and 112-Lonsberry, the PSA MINT 9's, totalling out to fifty-four (54) cards in all includes notables such as #51 Vachon, #57 Lapointe, #64 Goal Against Average Leaders Esposito/Villemure/Worsley, #69 Meloche rookie, #72 Goring, #79 Lafleur, #120 Perreault, #121 T. Esposito AS, #122 Orr, #126 B. Hull, #146 Boldirev rookie and #161 Robert rookie. Moving on, the rest of the graded group includes PSA NM-MT+ 8.5's (5 cards) of notables such as #100 Orr and #160 Dryden, PSA NM-MT 8's (23 cards) of keys such as #63 NHL scoring leaders Esposito/Orr/Ratelle, #131 Cournoyer AS, #140 Mahovlich, #141 Delvecchio and #150 P. Esposito, PSA NM 7's (7 cards) including #24 Plante, #50 Ratelle, #56 Mikita, #60 Bucyk and #72 Dryden and a lone (1) PSA EX-MT 6. Finally, for the cards found in their original raw ungraded form, the group totals 82 cards in all, which are housed in clear plastic binder pages, that are found to be generally in the condition of the included graded examples that are present.
