the 24th overall pick of the 2004 National Hockey League Entry Draft by the Washington Capitals, Jeff Schultz would play a total of 409 NHL games over the course of his career between Washington and the Los Angeles Kings. A Calder Cup Champion in both 2006 with the Hershey Bears and in 2015 with the Manchester Monarchs, Schultz would also win a Stanley Cup with the Los Angeles Kings in 2014. Offered here, we present this photo-matched Capitals jersey worn by Jeff during the 2006-07 season. Made by Reebok, a lone size "58" label resides over the inner collar while the crests of both Reebok and the NHL shield have been added over the reverse neckline and hem respectively. Decorated over the front with a Captials team crest that features both textured and embroidered details, matching alternate logo patches have been placed over both shoulders. Having had Schultz's number "55" sewn to the sleeves and verso in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals, "Schultz" is spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Exhibiting just light game-wear throughout, a trio of small board burns are observed over the left sleeve. Having had a Capitals team tag sewn inside the reverse hem that denotes the jersey as a "2006-2007 Set #1" offering, a MeiGray tag numbered "D10016" is sewn alongside it, with the company's population report listing the jersey as a "Black Set 1" specimen. Accompanied by a matching LOA, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #72937242 (December 27th, 2006 vs Montreal) to the board burn just above the white stripe of the left sleeve.
