A veteran of 875 National Hockey League contests over the course of 15-years in the league Sandis Ozolinsh would suit up for six (6) different franchises in his career, winning a Stanley Cup with the Colorado Avalanche in 1996. Suiting up on numerous occasions at the international level for the Soviet Union, Team CIS and Latvia, Ozolinsh would find himself back in the Cup Finals as a member of the Anaheim Mighty Ducks in 2002, donning this photo-matched jersey on the road for a portion of the series. Made by Koho and sporting a lone size "56" label affixed to the inner collar, a Koho logo patch has been added over the reverse neckline and the NHL shield crest has been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with a puffy Mighty Ducks team crest that features embroidered details throughout, matching alternate logo patches have been placed over both shoulders and the all-important 2003 Stanley Cup Finals patch has been added over the right breast. Having had Ozolinsh's number "8" sewn to the sleeves and verso in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals, "Ozolinsh" is spelt out in matching style across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Exhibiting light but clear game-use, board burns are observed over the right shoulder and right sleeve near the elbow where a small hole is also present. Additionally, some light stick marks are present over the front hem and light sweat staining is present around the collar. Having had a MeiGray tag numbered "A08754" sewn inside the reverse hem, according to the company's population report, the jersey is a "Jade Finals" specimen, one (1) of three (3) road jerseys worn by Ozolinsh during the series. Regarding the photo-matches, the jersey is matched to Getty Image #2054891 (May 29th, 2003 vs New Jersey - SCF Game 2) to the light stick marks over the front hem. Additionally, the image also appears to show the small hole near the right elbow but is not clear enough to say for sure.
