An intimate 50-card set picturing only players and staff of the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs, the 1959-60 Pakrhurst set was released for the last season of Montreal’s still unmatched run of five-straight Stanley Cups. Made up mostly of VG-EX to EX and EX to EX-MT examples, the group key cards is paced condition wise by an EX to EX-MT copy of card #8 picturing Doug Harvey (light border and corner wear) which is followed behind by VG-EX to EX examples of cards #'s 2-Richard (small white print mark on bottom), 24-Mahovlich (light corner wear) and 32-Bower (light corner wear and a small surface bump). Also featuring VG to VG-EX range cards of 23-Horton (surface wear), 33-Geoffrion (surface and corner wear), 39-H.Richard (corner wear) and 50-Clancy (bottom left corner damage). Rounding out the key cards with examples of 41-Plante (G to VG - corner dings and small corner crease), 6-Beliveau (GOOD - small crease at top left) and 1-Canadiens on Guard (FR to G - crease), the remainder of the set includes EX to EX-MT neighborhood cards of 4-Goyette, 9-Harris, 10-Johnson, 12-Bonin, 16-Hodge, 18-Provost, 19-Ehman, 20-McDonald, 22-Reardon, 25-Bower In Action, 26-Stewart, 27-Blake, 28-Pulford, 29-Backstrom, 42-Price, 45-Langlois, 46-Officials Intervene and 47-Selke as well as VG-EX to EX proximity cards of 3-Brewer, 5-Chadwick, 7-Armstrong, 11-Reaume, 13-Wilson, 14-Moore, 15-Imlach, 17-Regan, 31-Hicke, 34-Hampson, 35-Pronovost, 36-Smythe, 37-Marshall, 38-Duff, 40-Olmstead, 43-Turner, 44-Stanley, 48-Edmundson and 49-Talbot. Rounded out by cardboard seen as being in the G to VG range of 21-Baun and 30-Action Around the Net, a wonderful trip down memory lane awaits our lucky winning bidder.
