Matching its Topps counterpart that was released south of the border with the exact same design and checklist size of 660-cards making up the assembly, the 1975 O-Pee-Chee baseball card set features funky colour combinations as well as both French and English text on the reverses. Offered here, is this complete assembly of the 1975 O-Pee-Chee baseball release. Found to be in an overall condition range of VG to VG-EX with some EX examples mixed in throughout the contingent as well, many of the cards have corner wear and wear to the areas at the bottom right while a few have creases as well. With all five (5) checklist cards found in an original unmarked state (#126 is off-center) including the team cards, the group is paced condition wise by EX to EX-MT examples of card #1, a highlights card of Hank Aaron and card #280 of Carl Yastrzemski with both being affected by centering issues. Followed up by 61-Winfield (light corner wear) and 238-Brett RC (80-20 centering) in the scope of VG-EX to EX condition, cards on the spectrum of VG to VG-EX include 70-Schmidt (border and corner wear, completely off-center on the reverse), 370-Seaver (light corner wear, 80-20 centering), 620-Carter (tiny factory crease at the right side of the middle) and 660-Aaron (65-35 centring). With cards in the neighbourhood of VG including 300-Jackson (corner wear and off-center), 500-Ryan (corner and border wear, 90% off-center) and 600-Carew (corner wear and 90% off-center), those in the next category and in the vicinity of G to VG feature the likes of 223-Yount RC (bottom corner creases), 260-Bench (corner and border wear, off-center), 320-Rose (small crease bottom right) and 616-Rice RC (corner and border wear). Finishing out the key cards with a GOOD condition range copy of card #5, the Nolan Ryan Highlights card that has a crease, the other star players not mentioned are found in a condition that is consistent with the rest of the set.
