A nice group of antique baseball items are available, totaling 18 and spanning from the 1880s to approx the 1930s. Included, there is a pair of baseball trade cards from the late-1880s entitled "A Curver" and "Send em in" (both are trimmed, with staining), a 1890s baseball trade card for White Sewing Machines (writing on the reverse with paper loss from scrapbook removal), a pair of "Rovers" baseball membership cards, with one from 1919, the other from 1920, a 1927 postcard of the Elmwood Giants (Manitoba), a small snapshot from the 1930s/40s of women playing baseball, a circa 1930s "Wpgosis Red Stars" felt crest (Manitoba), a framed 1927 "La-Verendrye" circular felt baseball patch, a pair of circa 1910 mugs with children playing baseball graphics (heavy crazing to each, with a crack to one mug), and a 1919 baseball trophy presented for "Highest Individual Fielding Average" (6"). The lot also has a circa 1910s English child's tin drum with numerous sports shown including cricket and soccer (heavy surface rust), a 1930s Countess Cookies tin with numerous sports shown including baseball and football (7"), a circa 1920s Japanese children's baseball accordion toy (heavy wear with rusting), two early-1900s empty cigarette packs with association to baseball (Hassan and Helmar), and a Babe Ruth 1935 Quaker Oats celluloid baseball scorer (top hook portion trimmed away, spotting and fading to the reverse).
