Featuring a checklist of 396-cards that included a plethora of Wayne Gretzky offerings and released the year after "The Great One" had recorded his first of three-straight 200+ point seasons, the 1984-85 O-Pee-Chee hockey release featured a total of fifty-three (53) first year cardboard examples including those of Dave Andreychuk, Tom Barrasso, Chris Chelios, Doug Gilmour, Pat LaFontaine, Cam Neely, Dave Poulin and Pat Verbeek as well as the set's most valuable and sought after card in the from of Steve Yzerman's rookie card at #67 in the checklist. Offered here, is this unopened wax pack from O-Pee-Chee's 1984-85 hockey release that has been graded a MINT 9 by the professionals at PSA. Displaying the original purchase price of .35 cents over the front along with a Stanley Cup Finals contest offer, the pack houses fifteen (15) cards on the inside of the wrapper as well as a stick of bubble gum. Displaying in beautiful condition with the card on the backside of the wrapper unable to be made out, the holder remains in a condition nearly as flawless as the pack inside it, showing just a couple of light scratches over both sides worth mentioning for accuracy.
