With a lengthy career split between North America and Russia, Sergei Zubov holds the second position on the all-time list for points scored by Russian-born defensemen. A prolific defenseman, Zubov concluded his Hall of Fame career with 771 points in 1,068 games. The five-time All-Star also celebrated two Stanley Cups. The size tag indicates it is a size "56" on the inner collar, and the back of the collar has a "Reebok" patch. This specific set was worn from March 21, 2007, to April 5, 2007, for six regular-season games and four playoff games in the Western Conference quarter-finals against the Vancouver Canucks. The MeiGray patch on the inside hem states "NHL game-worn jersey 2006-2007 season D06658", and according to MeiGray's population report, the jersey is a "White Set 3 / Playoffs w/A" example. The MeiGray LOA confirms that this "White Set 3 w/A jersey was worn by #56 Sergei Zubov during the 2006-2007 National Hockey League regular season and Stanley Cup Playoff". On the right breast is a "2007 All-Star Game" patch, and on the left breast is an alternate "A". The right lower sleeve has two team-repaired cuts, on the left shoulder there are a few game marks, and on the lower sleeve is a board burn. On the back of the jersey are a half dozen or so very small unrepaired holes. The fight strap shows some signs of light washing. Accompanied by a MeiGray LOA with the Authentication Program number D06658 matching the one on the jersey.
