Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/24/2024
The modern Ottawa Senators’ first goalie was Peter Sidorkiewicz, who wore this white home gamer during the 1992-93 pre-season before posting a win in the Canadian capital’s first game back in the NHL in 58 years. The 1992-93 Senators pre-season game-worn jersey has size 56 and Maska flag tags in the back of the neck. Game wear includes black marks on the Senators crest on the front as well as light marks on the right upper back and faint and small reddish-brown stains on the back of the upper left sleeve. The jersey also displays the Stanley Cup Centennial patch worn league-wide during the Senators’ inaugural season and plain black numbers on the back and sleeves that Ottawa only used during the pre-season. Originating from his personal collection, an LOA signed by Peter Sidorkiewicz will accompany.
