A first-round 12 overall draft choice of the Nashville Predators in 2001, Dan Hamhuis played his first five NHL seasons in Tennessee, and returned to the club for a pair of seasons to end his career. The CCM size tag indicates it is a size "56" on the inner collar and the back of the collar has a "Reebok" patch. Removed from the left breast is the alternate captain’s "A". The MeiGray patch on the inside hem states "NHL game-worn jersey 2008-2009 season F08325" and according to MeiGray's population report the jersey is a "White Set 3" example. The accompanying laminated MeiGray LOA confirms that "this White Set 3 jersey was worn by #2 Dan Hamhuis during the 2008-2009 National Hockey League regular season". There is an additional LOA that comes with the jersey as well. The lower right sleeve has a team repair along with a few other game marks. The left sleeve has a half dozen or so game marks, including a few board burns/paint transfers near the number "2", along with a team repair and light pilling on the lower sleeve. The front of the jersey has a faint stick mark toward the bottom and the back has a couple of small game marks toward the bottom. The fight strap shows signs of some washing.
