Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/20/2024
Used sparingly by New Jersey for two seasons, Ricard Persson cracked the St Louis Blues line-up in 1996-97 and spent four seasons with the club as well as two seasons with Ottawa and numerous seasons in Europe before retiring in 2010. From his third seasons in Missouri, we have a Blues jersey worn by the Swede in 1998-99. Center Ice and Starter labeling with a “54-R” size swatch is affixed to the collar, with embroidered Starter and NHL crests to the reverse hem. Featuring a tackle twill Blues team crest, “7” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in tackle twill, with the fight strap intact. Great game-use is shown on the garment, with marks to the lower band and sleeves, along with board burns and paint transfer to the sleeves. Each cuff has also been customized, with the seam torn to open up and widen each cuff. The screened team patch resides on the inside hem near a Custom Crafted logo - and is mostly worn away, with a BlueNote Authentics hologram also affixed. A COA from the Blues will accompany.
