Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/19/2023
Originally a first round selection of the Edmonton Oilers who selected him 25th overall at the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, Rob Schremp played a total of 114 National Hockey League games over the course of his career split between Edmonton, Atlanta and New York. Offered here, we present this New York Islanders jersey worn by Scremp during the 2010-11 season. Made by Reebok and having had a lone size “56” tag affixed to the inner collar, the front and reverse necklines of the tie-neck garment have been accented with logo patches for the NHL and Reebok respectively. Decorated over the front with an Islanders team crest that features embroidered details, the sleeves and verso have had Rob’s number “44” sewn to them in dual layer tackle twill numerals while “Schremp” is spelt out in matching style across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting just light game-use, faint stick marks are present over the lower front, reverse and both sleeves. Having had an Islanders team tag affixed inside the reverse hem that is serial numbered “209624”, a matching Islanders LOA will accompany the piece. Of note, the team tag incorrectly lists the jersey as being from 2009-10 while the LOA incorrectly lists it as a white jersey and not a blue.
