Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/19/2023
The first goaltender selected in the third round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, and 77th overall, Michael Hutchinson was chosen by the Boston Bruins, but made his NHL debut for Winnipeg in 2013-14. Currently an unrestricted free agent, the Barrie native has backstopped five NHL teams thus far. This Jets jersey was worn by Hutchinson during the 2014-15 playoffs, his official rookie season. "Goalie Style" and 58 size tagging resides in the collar, with NHL and Reebok patches on the front and back neckline respectively. Featuring a textured Jets team crest in tackle twill, “34” in slanted numerals are sewn to the sleeves and verso, with matching alternate crests to the shoulders. Hutchinson did not see any action during the playoffs, but did serve as back-up. The "Playoffs" team patch resides on the inside hem, with an LOA from the Jets to accompany.
