Having played his college football with the University of Oregon Ducks, Patrick Chung would be selected 34th overall in the 2009 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots and go on to enjoy a 12-year NFL career that saw him win a trio of Super Bowl championships. Offered here, is this photo-matched Patriots jersey worn by the safety during the 2010 season. Made by Reebok, a brand/NFL Equipment jock tag is affixed to the inner collar along with size “46” and “10” year fly tags. Displaying both NFL Equipment and Patriots wordmark patches at and under the front collar, Chung’s number “25” is found over the front, reverse and both sleeves in tri-layer tackle twill numerals while “Chung” is spelt out in single layer navy twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Having had Patriots and Reebok logos added over both sleeves, the jersey is riddled with hit marks and paint transfers throughout the sleeves, shoulders, front and reverse while a brown coloured liquid stain is found at the lower reverse near a pair of team repairs under the reverse number “2” and at the left side which also sports fraying/pilling. Additionally, some stitches on the numbers all the way around have been popped with game-use. Having been signed by Chung over the right collar bone with a black ink signature that displays well, a Grey Flannel Auctions LOA will accompany the jersey as well as a JSA Auctions LOA from 2013 for the autograph. Regarding the aforementioned photo-matches, the jersey is photo-matched with Getty Image #1451454345 (September 12th, 2010 vs Cincinnati) and #106445323 (October 24th, 2010 vs San Diego) to the various red paint transfers over the right shoulder that became smaller/more washed out over time from numerous washings
