A product of the Portland Winter Hawks of the WHL, Nolan Pratt would be drafted 115th overall by the Hartford Whalers in 1993 and end up playing a total of 592 National Hockey League games over the course of his career. Having had his name engraved on the Stanley Cup a total of three (3) times including two as a player (Colorado in 2001 and Tampa Bay in 2004), offered here is this Carolina Hurricanes jersey worn by Pratt during the 1999-2000 season. Made by CCM, both “Made in Canada” and partially sewn over size “56” labels are affixed to the inner collar with the latter of the two displaying Pratt’s number “4” handwritten in black marker. Having had the logos of CCM and the NHL shield embroidered into the reverse hem, the front of the jersey is decorated with a Hurricanes team crest that features embroidered details while the NHL2000 patch has been added over the right breast underneath the Raleigh Arena inaugural season patch in the same area. Sporting Steve Chiasson memorial patch over the left shoulder, matching alternate logo patches grace both shoulders as well. Having had Pratt’s number “4” sewn to the sleeves and verso in dual layer white-over-black tackle twill numerals, “Pratt” is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Showcasing just light game wear, a few stick marks are observed over the left sleeve while the interior hem of the jersey features the Custom Crafted stamping designating the jersey as being from the “3rd set” of that season.
