America’s national pastime with each Major League Baseball season culminating with the National and American League champions pitted against each other in the World Series, AL teams have won the crown a total of 67 times while NL teams can lay claim to 51 titles. Offered here, is this collection of baseball cards totalling six (6). Including a pair of graded rookie offerings in the form of a 1987 Fleer card of Barry Bonds and a 1993 Topps of Derek Jeter, both have been assessed by PSA and have been given marks of MINT 9 and NM-MT 8 respectively while showcasing some minor scratches and scuffs to each holder that is worth mentioning for accuracy. For the rest of the cards, a 2011 Panini Limited Lumberjacks Bats card of Joe Jackson is accounted for, serial numbered “061/199” and been deemed worthy of a MINT 9 grade from Beckett with subgrades of Centering 9.5, Corners 8.5, Edges 9 and Surface 9. For the final three cards, two are 2016 Topps Now offerings of Chicago Cubs players Aroldis Chapman and Ben Zobrist that are serial numbered “19/49” and “03/99” respectively with each having had MLB Authenticated relics from Game 5 and Game 7 of the 2016 World Series (won by the Cubs) embedded into the front of the card. Of note, the Chapman specimen has been graded a GEM MT 10 by PSA while the Zobrist is still in raw ungraded form. Lastly, included is a 1999 Upper Deck MVP “Game Used Souvenirs” card of Barry Bonds that contains a piece of bat once used by the home run king. Also not having been graded, the card is found to be in the range of NM or better.
