This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/28/2023
A graduate of Clarkson University, starring for the Golden Knights for four seasons, Craig Conroy was drafted by Montreal in 1990 and spent parts of two seasons in Quebec. Conroy would serve as a finalist for the Frank J. Selke Trophy twice throughout his lengthy career, and was nominated for the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy. Spending the majority of his time in Calgary, we have a photo-matched Flames alternate captain's jersey worn by Conroy in 2009-10. A CCM label with "58" sizing is affixed to the collar with "24" handwritten, with NHL and Reebok crests gracing the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the traditional Flames team crest administered in layered red, gold and black tackle twill, “24” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material, with the Flames 30th anniversary crest over the right breast. There are also Canadian and provincial flags over the shoulders, with the fight strap intact. The jersey shows light use with a few material pulls and burn marks to the left sleeve. Getty Image #98480241 (April 10, 2010) has been matched to the fold line to the material beneath the Canadian flag patch on the left shoulder, with the extended white thread at the bottom right also visible. A MeiGray patch numbered "G01815" is affixed to the inside hem, and according to the population report, the jersey is a "White Set 3" specimen. An LOA will accompany.
