Just a single game behind the then-current World Series champion Brooklyn Dodgers, the Milwaukee Braves finished in second place in the NL in 1956 and led Major League Baseball in attendance, with over 2 million fans filling Milwaukee County Stadium. Originating from the estate of Cecil Finkler, a Former International League Toronto Maple Leafs team executive, we have a ball team-signed by the 1956 Braves. A Spalding Official NL Warren Giles model, 28 have signed in matching blue ink, including Aaron, Mathews, Logan, Conley, Adcocok, Tanner, Covington, Keely, Pafko, Mantilla, Haney (manager), Thompson, Crone, Phillips, Bruton, Johnson, Sleater, Roselli and others. The signatures are a bit light/faded, with with a few dark spots on the ball covering signatures. The ball itself exhibits moderate toning. We should also note that the ball has clubhouse signatures of Warren Spahn and Del Crandall. A JSA LOA will accompany.
