Having become one of the National Hockey League’s most dominate forwards in the last few seasons, Leon Draisaitl's NHL journey began while the Edmonton Oilers selected him 3rd overall in the 2014 Entry Draft. The Art Ross and Hart Memory Trophy winner for the 2019-20 season, up for grabs here are these photo-matched gloves worn by Draisaitl during his sophomore campaign of 2015-16 in which he would register 51 points in 72 games played. Warrior AX1 Pro models in the Oilers blue, orange and white colourway, Warrior wordmark logos are embroidered over each orange coloured cuff in white and blue with “Draisaitl” identifiers embroidered into the wrist of each gauntlet as well. Sporting additional Warrior logos added over each thumb and an orange triangle patch displaying Leon’s number “29” on the underside of each wrist as well, the gloves show heavy use with wear via rubbing and holes to each palm worth noting while the outsides of both gloves show rips at the upper part of both thumb guards, stick marks, frays and additional cuts/holes that have gone unrepaired. Additionally, Draisaitl has signed over the thumb guard of each with silver ink autographs that display well with no flaws.
Regarding the aforementioned photo-matches, the gloves are photo matched with Getty #501758092 (December 15th, 2015 vs New York) to the rip at the top right corner directly to the right of the "R" in "Warrior" on the left glove, to the stick mark through the "R" in "Warrior" on the left glove and to the frays over the top of the hand at the right side on the left glove. Additionally, the gloves are also matched with Getty Image #502677908 (December 26th vs Vancouver) to the stick mark above the "O" in "Warrior" on the right glove, the tear at the top of the thumb on the left glove and to the stick marks through the Warrior logo on the thumb of the left glove.
