Selected 49th overall by San Jose in the 2nd round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, Mario Ferraro has played his entire National Hockey League career with the Sharks thus far. A product of the UMass-Amhurst Minutemen in the NCAA and a member of Canada’s 2021 gold medal winning squad at the World Championships, up for grabs here is this San Jose Sharks “Reverse Retro” jersey worn by Ferraro during the 2022-23 season. Made by Adidas, a band displaying both size “56” and “Made in Canada” designations sits along the inner collar above a heat screened Sharks team tag denoting the piece as a 2022-23 specimen and below "SJS 1974" plus the reverse retro logo. A design that mimics the jerseys worn by the 1974 California Golden Seals, the front of the white, teal and yellow garment is decorated with “Sharks” in individually sewn on teal-over-yellow tackle twill letters while the crests of both the NHL shield and Adidas adorn the front and back necklines respectively. Accented over both sleeves with Ferraro’s number “38” once again done in dual layer teal-over-yellow tackle twill numerals, “Ferraro” is spelt out in single layer teal twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate across the top of the back. Exhibiting just light game-wear via a small number of stick marks over the left sleeve and a board burn under the numbers of the right sleeve, some very light pilling and some small loose threads/fraying is seen on the interior as well.
