Drafted 97th overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 4th round at the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, Niclas Wallin would suit up in 614 National Hockey League games over the course of his 10-year career. A Stanley Cup champion in 2006 with the Canes, offered here is this San Jose Sharks jersey worn by Wallin during the 2010-11 season. Made by Reebok, a single size “58” tag is affixed to the inner collar while the emblems of both the NHL shield and Reebok are found over the front and back necklines respectively. Decorated over the chest with a Sharks team crest that featured embroidered details throughout, a patch commemorating the franchise’s 20th anniversary has been added to the left sleeve as well with matching Sharks logo patches decorating each shoulder as well. Accented over the right breast, sleeves and verso with Wallin’s number “7” in tri-layer tackle twill numerals, “Wallin” is spelt out in dual layer white-over-black letters across the affixed matching nameplate across the top of the back. Exhibiting overall light game-use via a couple of board burns near the cuff of the right sleeve, some fabric snags throughout and some pilling on the interior, the jersey is photo-matched with Getty Image #107767679 (December 21st, 2010 vs Edmonton) to the loose white thread off of the stick in the team crest on the front while a Sharks team tag denoting the jersey as a 2010-2011 offering is sewn inside the rear hem.
