Classic collectibles that always pique the interest of those who are enthusiastic about them are 1964-65 Topps cards, with the intriguing details of this complete 110-card assembly being as follows. In an overall consistent condition range of VG to VG-EX with corner wear throughout, the best condition offerings are found in the scope of VG-EX to EX and include 20-Hull (tiny dent at the letter “b” and a bottom right corner ding), 58-Williams (light surface wear and factory print line), 72-Dornhoeffer, 85-Mahovlich (light surface mark and bottom right corner), 91-Nesterenko and 107-Hull All-Star (bottom left corner ding). Cards seen as being a tad worse off than the lead six listed above are those in the consistent set range of VG to VG-EX including the examples of 31-Mikita (4 soft corners), 33-Beliveau (4 soft corners and a light surface scratch), 54-Checklist (unmarked, tiny crease at the top border), 55-Checklist (unmarked, small crease at the bottom right), 59-Pilote (4 soft corners), 68-Plante (off-center 80-20, very light crease that shows on the reverse only), 73-Maki (4 soft corners), 74-Villemure (surface crease on the back that is light in appearance on the front, top left corner ding), 80-Rousseau (4 soft corners), 92-Paille (4 soft corners) and 108-Wharram All-Star (4 soft corners). The last two cards, all-star offerings #106 and #110 of Black Hawks teammates Stan Mikita and Glenn Hall are both seen as being in the vicinity of G to VG with the Mikita showing a light crease and a top right corner ding and the Hall having light corner creases. With the other stars in a condition range that is consistent with the rest of the set, it is worth mentioning that card #105, Tim Horton’s all-star card is a filler with ink damage/writing on the front and card #82 of Ted Lindsay has paper damage on the back.
