Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/28/2023
The right-hand man of Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl is not one to shy away from pulling off moves that put him in highlight reels all over the league as his wizardry won him both the Art Ross and Hart Memorial Trophies in 2020. Surely worthy of finding a spot in your all-important collection, is this copy of Leon’s 2014-15 Upper Deck Trilogy Rookie Premiers rookie card. The limited “Radiant Blue” parallel version that is serial numbered “284/499” over the lower front, Draisaitl is seen preparing to attack offensively on the front on top of a foil like background. Having been graded by Beckett and earning a mark of GEM MINT 9.5, subgrades also displayed on the label include Centering 9.5, Corners 9, Edges 9.5 and Surface 9.5. With the write on the back telling the tale of how he tore up the German Development League with 192 points in only 29 games played(!), the card is housed in a Beckett holder that remains in excellent condition and shows just a small number of light scratches over each side.
