A veteran of 444 games played in the National Hockey League, goaltender Patrick Lalime dressed for five different NHL clubs throughout his career, before heading upstairs to the broadcast booth after his playing days. Hailing from a season in which played in 57 games between the pipes for the Ottawa Senators and registered 25 wins, offered here is this Sens jersey worn by Lalime during the 2003-04 regular season and playoffs that has been photo-matched. Made by CCM, both “Goalie Style” and size “58” tags are affixed to the inner collar while the logos of CCM and the NHL appear over the reverse neckline hem respectively. Decorated over the front with a Senators team crest that features embroidered and textured details, alternate logo patches reside over each shoulder while the memorial patch that Ottawa wore following the passing of Roger Neilson has been added over the right breast. Accented Lalime’s number “40” over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill numerals, “Lalime” is spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in single layer black twill letters. Showing game-wear via puck marks over both sleeves and the front, a couple of small stick marks are observed over the right sleeve and a large team repair is seen above the Senators crest. Additional wear is exhibited via very light pilling on the interior and red post/crossbar paint transfers on the reverse. A MeiGray tag numbered “B06712” is sewn inside the reverse hem and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “White 3rd Regular Season / Playoffs” offering. Accompanied by a matching MeiGray LOA, the jersey is photo-matched to an included 8” x 10” image of Lalime taken after Game 7 of the ECQF vs Toronto in the handshake line with Leafs goalie Ed Belfour to the puck marks near the left armpit and team repair over the front crest.
