Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/27/2023
Winning a Stanley Cup championship with Montreal in 1993, Vincent Damphousse spent parts of seven seasons with the Canadiens, and served as team captain for three seasons. Originating from his personal collection, we have a stick used by the Montreal native circa 1998-99, along with signed and photo-matched gloves worn for the Canadiens 2009 Centennial alumni game. The stick is a Koho Revolution model with "Damphousse" stamped and the original tape to the blade and handle. Nice use is shown with wear to the underside blade and marks to the shaft. The gloves are Sher-Wood 9950 models in Habs colours, with use shown including marks and wear/darkening to the palms. Damphousse has signed each glove in black marker. Getty Image #94285222 (Dec 4, 2009) has been matched to the dark marks over the fingers on the right glove. A photocopy of the original LOA will accompany.
