One of the Toronto Blue Jays most dependable relievers during his tenure, Duane Ward was the American League’s saves leader in 1993 and was part of both of Toronto's back-to-back World Series championships in 1992 and 1993. Inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2022, Up for grabs here is this Toronto Blue Jays home jersey worn by Ward during Toronto's World Series Championship season of 1992. A Wilson label with “44” sizing is affixed to the collar, with an embroidered number/year/set swatch of “31 92 2” placed directly beneath. Styled with “Blue Jays” arching across the chest along in white-over blue dual-layer tackle twill letters, a partially embroidered Jays team crest resides over the front under the word mark logo. Accented with Ward's number "31" in matching material over the verso with "Ward" spelt out above in single layer blue twill letters, Ward has signed the reverse in dark blue marker, with the signature presenting beautifully. Sporting light game-use, a few small dirt stains are observed over the lower front while additional stains and light soiling are found near the collar and left side as well.
