A two-time All-Star who began his Major League career with Texas after being drafted by both Seattle and Chicago in 1978 and 1980 respectively, Tom Henke spent 14 seasons in the big leagues, leading the American League in saves during the 1987 campaign. Inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2011, up for grabs here is this Toronto Blue Jays home jersey worn by "The Terminator" during Toronto's World Series Championship season of 1992. A Wilson label with “46” sizing is affixed to the collar, with an embroidered number/year/set swatch of “50 92 2” placed directly beneath. Styled with “Blue Jays” arching across the chest along in white-over blue dual-layer tackle twill letters, a partially embroidered Jays team crest resides over the front under the word mark logo. Accented with Henke's number "50" in matching material over the verso with "Henke" spelt out above in single layer blue twill letters, the trusty closer has penned his signature in black ink between the two numbers on the reverse. Displaying with just light game-use via a few marks and stains seen throughout, additional wear is present through minor sweat staining/soiling encompassing areas of the collar.
