Earning high praise from Calgary head coach Darryl Sutter who said he was one of the Flames' “most underrated players and was influential in helping the team reach the playoffs for the first time in eight seasons”, Rhett Warrener would suit up for the third Stanley Cup Finals of his career in 2004 against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Suiting up in all seven games with an average TOI of 25:45, offered here is this jersey worn by Warrener during the series. Made by CCM and featuring a lone partially sewn over size “58” tag affixed to the inner collar, a CCM logo patch has been placed over the reverse neckline while the NHL shield emblem has been embroidered into the reverse hem. Having been styled over the front with a Flames team crest in layered tackle twill, matching “Blasty” alternate logos reside over each shoulder while the 2004 Stanley Cup Finals patch is present over the right breast. Having had Warrener’s number “44” sewn to the sleeves and verso in tri-layer tackle twill numerals, “Warrener” is spelt out in dual layer tackle twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. One of two road jerseys that was worn in the series, the jersey exhibits just light game-wear via a handful of stick marks over the front, lower reverse and right sleeve with a small spot stain also to report on the left sleeve as well. Showcasing a MeiGray patch numbered “B01681” that has been sewn inside the reverse hem, according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “White Stanley Cup Finals” specimen.
