Canadian basketball royalty, Steve Nash would enjoy an NBA career that spanned the course of 18-seasons split between the Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers. A two-time NBA Most Valuable Player Award winner, coming in back-to-back years of 2005 and 2006, Nash was an 8-time all-star and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2018. Up for grabs here, is this framed display containing a pair of shoes worn by Nash while playing for the Suns during the 2007-08 season. Nike Air Zoom models with Nash’s initials embroidered in near the heel of each, the black, purple and orange kicks have been signed by Nash in silver marker over the shoe with the autograph displaying without issue. Sporting a WGA hologram near the autograph on the left shoe as well as on the accompanying LOA from WGA, the shoes both show just light wear, remaining in excellent condition and displaying well. Displayed on a black background in a shadow box display that measures to full dimensions of 25 ½” x 29 ½” and remains in excellent condition with just light wear to the edges and corners, the bottom of the display includes a copy of Nash’s 1996-97 Topps Chrome rookie card that is surrounded with black- and purple-coloured mattes. Also found at the bottom of the display is an information plaque that shows Suns logos at the top of each side as well as career details and achievements that is also surrounded by mattes of the same style. An excellent piece of Canadian basketball history, don’t miss this slam dunk of a piece! Please note that the shoes seems to be firmly affixed within the frame, most likely with some kind of adhesive and can't be removed of the frame for shipping.
