This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/27/2023
Dressing for three different clubs throughout his 700+ games played in the NHL, Rhett Warrener concluded his career with four seasons in Calgary, retiring due to a shoulder injury in 2009. The Shaunavon native briefly remained with the Flames as a scout after his playing days before turning to broadcasting. This Flames jersey was worn by Warrener during his first season in Alberta, in 2003-04. A single size “58” tag is affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and KOHO crests over the reverse hem and reverse neckline respectively. The front of the tie-neck garment is stylized with a layered tackle twill Flames team crest, while the sleeves and verso have been accented with “44” in matching material, with alternate crests over each shoulder. Exhibiting light game-use, there is a stick mark on the lower front, with a few burns and marks to the right sleeve. A MeiGray patch numbered “B01827” sits over the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "Red 2nd Regular Season" specimen. An LOA will accompany.
