Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/27/2023
Suffering a partially blinding eye injury when a flying puck collided with his eye while he was not wearing a visor in 2002, Landon Wilson skated for five different NHL clubs throughout his career. From his second season with Boston in 1997-98, we have a Bruins jersey worn by the St Louis native in 1997-98. Starter labeling with a “56-R” size swatch sit affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Starter crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the famous spoked-B team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the white V-neck has been accented with "27" in tri-colour tackle twill sewn to the sleeves and verso, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. There is also an intact dual-clasp fight strap. Hammered with game-use, there is a plethora of puck and stick marks covering the front and sleeves, along with pulls, burns and scuffs. There is red paint transfer to the lower reverse, with pilling to both the interior and exterior. Team repairs are also present, with a large material-backed example beneath the front collar, with an additional example over the right elbow. An LOA will accompany.
