The 67th overall pick of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers, Alex Henry would play a total of 177 games in his National Hockey League career before playing pro in Germany and the Netherlands to close out his career. Offered here, is this Montreal Canadiens “1910-11” style throwback jersey issued to Alex for the Canadiens’ game against the Calgary Flames on November 10th, 2009 as part of their centennial season celebrations. Made by Reebok and featuring a single size “58+” tag affixed to the inner collar, both NHL shield and Reebok crests are affixed over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front with a Canadiens 1910-11 style team crest that displays embroidered details, Montreal’s 100th anniversary patch has been added over the right shoulder. Accented with Henry’s number “24” in single layer white twill numerals over the sleeves and verso, “Henry” has been spelt out in matching letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Issued but never worn, the jersey shows no signs of use and remains in beautiful condition. Having had a Canadiens team tag numbered “A01818” sewn inside the reverse hem, a Habs hologram numbered “GW62046” has been affixed over the bottom of the reverse number “4” and is accompanied by a matching Canadiens LOA.
