Playing in each and every one of the Edmonton Oilers 24 playoff games during their bid for Lord Stanley's coveted trophy in 2005-06, Sergei Samsonov contributed 15 points including 4 goals. From the 2006 Stanley Cup finals, we have an Oilers jersey worn by Samsonov in both Game 3 (June 10th, 2-1 victory) and Game 4 (June 12th, 2-1 loss), accompanied by a puck also used by Samsonov to score a goal in Game 4 (June 12th). Elite and size “56” labels grace the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok patches on the reverse hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with an Oilers tackle twill team crest and “12” sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material, alternate crests grace each shoulder. The 2006 Stanley Cup finals patch resides just above the right breast. Worn in two games, the jersey shows light use with no discernible marks from game wear visible. The team year swatch resides on the inside hem near a patch from MeiGray numbered "C03894", and according to the population report, the jersey is a "Navy Stanley Cup Finals" specimen. The puck sports the Stanley Cup logo with "Game Four", with a hologram added to the reverse. The opening goal of the match and Samsonov's 4th of the playoffs, the goal was scored at 8:40 of the first, with Radek Dvorák and Jarret Stoll assisting. LOAs will accompany for both items.
