Spending five (5) years with the Toronto Maple Leafs after breaking into the league with Anaheim Ducks, Frederik Andersen would record a record of 149-74-36 while wearing blue and white and earn an All-Star nod in 2020. Offered here, is this Toronto Maple Leafs “Toronto St. Pats” alternate jersey issued to Andersen for use during games on March 14th and March 17th, 2020 that were cancelled due to the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. Featuring an Adidas band that displays both “Made in Canada” and size “60G” designations over the inner collar, NHL shield and Adidas crests reside over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front of the jersey with “St. Pats” in green felt letters sewn to an oval white felt base in the middle of the chest, Andersen’s number “31” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching green felt material with the back numbers once again added on top of a white felt base and sewn down with a vintage-style sewing pattern. Displaying with “Andersen” spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in green felt letters as well, the jersey, having never been worn, remains in beautiful condition and shows no signs of use. Showcasing a Leafs team tag numbered “J-0268” sewn inside the rear hem, a matching Leafs COA will accompany the piece.
